Better we supply equipment and weapons that are obsolete to be replaced by more advanced weaponry, than need to send troops to fulfill our agreement. Appeasement didn't work for Chamberlain with Hitler, and it isn't likely to work with Putin whose eyes are set on reconstituting the Soviet Union. This time the stakes are much higher with so many more nuclear weapons. Xi and Kim Jung In are interested in our commitment also.

Biden also created fifteen million new jobs and 800,000 in manufacturing, we had the fastest economic recovery post Covid of any country in the world, he passed the inflation reduction act and the infrastructure bill. He vaccinated 200 million Americans in 100 days. The fact is corporate greed, and corporate losses during Trump's Covid debacle drove the "inflation" (corporate price gouging)along with Saudi Arabia cutting oil production by 10% at the beginning of Putin's invasion of Ukraine, skyrocketing oil prices and weakening sanctions against Russia in Europe (a deal worked out by Trump when the Saudis entered a price war with Russia during Covid). Trump had the highest unemployment numbers in history and the fastest drop in GDP on record. He lost 2.9 million jobs, only the second president to do so, and the prices were the result of closed factories and shops and severely reduced commuting. Trump caused a recession and Biden prevented a depression.
